Good multiple-choice questions are slow to write: one clear stem, one correct answer and wrong answers that are believable but still wrong. Quizbot’s multiple choice question generator does that work from your own material. Paste a passage, upload a file or type a topic, choose how many questions you need, and you get a ready-to-use set of MCQs with the answer key — which you can edit, print, export or turn into an online quiz.

A good MCQ tests one idea, has a stem that makes sense on its own, and has exactly one defensible answer. The wrong options — the distractors — matter as much as the right one: they should be mistakes a student could genuinely make, not jokes or options that are obviously false. When distractors are weak, the question tests guessing instead of understanding.
Quizbot writes each question from your material with one correct option and distractors that are plausible and different from each other, and it avoids options that simply repeat the answer in other words. You can still edit any stem or option before you use the set.
Hand-written tests often end up with the correct answer in the same position again and again, and students notice. Quizbot spreads the correct answers evenly across A, B, C and D, so a pattern such as “the answer is usually C” never appears.
Every set comes with its answer key, so you can mark a printed test quickly, share the key after the quiz, or let the online version mark itself.
Because the questions come from what you give it — a textbook chapter, lecture slides, a worksheet, a web page, a YouTube video or just a topic — they use your terminology and stay inside what you actually covered. Choose the difficulty, the number of questions and the language, and generate as many sets as you need from the same material.
Download the questions as Word or PDF for printing, send them to Google Classroom, export them for Moodle, Canvas or Blackboard (QTI), Aiken or Kahoot, or share them as an online quiz that students can take on any device and get marked straight away.
